As the founder of House of Three and caring for our Residents in the Little Rock homes, I have enjoyed seeing the benefits of home living for disabled seniors. Families have commented on the calm peacefulness that they now see that their loved one had not experienced in their previous placement. Evidence of independence that had once thought lost has frequently been regained when the senior was returned to a home setting. Families who have moved from their home to a House of Three have commented on once again achieving security knowing that their loved one’s needs are being met. Residents love the pampering they find within their new home. Families appreciate the choice that the House of Three now gives them.

When abilities and health of the senior decline, giving families the assurance that we are caring for their loved one as we would our own is enriching. As loved ones have passed away within a House of Three, I have had multiple families extend their gratitude to the House of Three and our caregivers. They find peace that their loved one was able to spend their last days around those who had come to love and seek the best of care for them. Each of the Little Rock homes are facilitated by myself, but wherever you are within the state, I invite you to see the difference The House of Three can make for your loved one.

The Lyric home was Koy's first House of Three home which opened in 2013. This traditional brick home is located within an established, quiet mid-town Little Rock neighborhood. The 3100 square-foot single-story home provides each Resident a large suite with a private bathroom specially equipped with a walk-in shower and grab bars. The 3100 square-foot home allows for big bedrooms and large closets. Living areas included within this spacious home are a formal dining room, living room, and den for cozy times around the fireplace. The family-style kitchen is welcoming with a view into the inviting backyard. The secured, fenced backyard has been the setting for many meals on the patio, bird watching, and family gatherings for the residents. During warm months, Residents and their caregivers can take a walk around the back yard. One Resident family even prepared a small garden for the house to enjoy. We invite you to come and see how you can make the Lyric house a home for your loved one.

Just around the corner from the Lyric home, the Linda Lane home provides the same quiet neighborhood setting. This bright home has a very open feel with the kitchen, den, and dining room allowing for lots of interaction with Residents, Caregivers, and family members. The den's fireplace takes center stage on cool winter days. On the warmer afternoons, the large patio and deck create a welcome environment for Residents to get out and enjoy the fresh air or have a meal outside. This very private yard is shaded by large trees and outlined with lush ivy.

As with all House of Three homes, Residents enjoy their own private bedroom. One Resident room within this home has a private bath with an easy-access shower. The shared bath allows for ease of movement for wheelchairs and provides grab-bars for Residents.

Tucked within a newer Chenal area neighborhood, the Oaks Bluff home built in the early 90's, is convenient for many west Little Rock families. This brick home is welcoming with a shaded front yard. The spacious den is the preferred gathering place in this home for piano music, TV watching, and/or fireplace viewing. The open patio and backyard surrounded by a privacy fence does allow for Residents to view the bustling activity at the Rahling-Hinson-Taylor Loop intersection. The three Resident rooms allow for lots of sunshine within. One large suite has an over-sized closet and bathroom. The main bath shared by Residents has a roll-in shower. The sunlight kitchen is regularly used by family members who choose to cook for all who call Oaks Bluff home.
